Volusia County shooting leaves 1 person injured

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. — An investigation is underway after a shooting in Holly Hill.

According to police, the shooting happened around 1:10 p.m. Thursday at the Charleston Place Apartments.

Police said the victim was walking along a sidewalk when three shots were fired out of a dark-colored SUV.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for a foot injury.
