Shooting at assisted living facility left two dead, police say

CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. — Two people were found dead at an assisted living facility after a reported shooting in Citrus Springs on Friday.

According to the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), a man shot a woman outside the facility before shooting himself.

CCSO says the incident appears to be domestic, and there is no threat to the community.
