Police: 1 killed, 1 injured in shooting at Fred Meyer store in Richland, Washington

RICHLAND, Wash. – Police were responding to an active shooting at a grocery store in Richland on Monday. One person is dead and another was taken to a hospital.

Officers have confirmed the shooting took place inside the Fred Meyer store on Wellsian Way.

The suspected shooter, who was seen in surveillance images, remains at large.
