one dead after shooting on train at Navy Yard Metro Station in DC, police say

WASHINGTON (7News) — A man is dead after a shooting on a Green Line train at Metro’s Navy Yard Station in D.C. on Sunday, according to the Metro Transit Police Department (MTPD).

 

Authorities said around 11:45 a.m., MTPD and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to the station for a report of a shooting on a train.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, officials sad.
