Homicide of 16-year-old in Glenwood, shooting death of Dolton man investigated

Glenwood police were working with the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force in investigating the shooting death of a 16-year-old in that village, while the homicide of a Dolton man is also being probed.

 

Mario Brown, of the 800 block of Terrace Drive, Glenwood, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 7 p.m. May 8 at South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The shooting apparently took place at his home.

In Dolton, a 32-year-old resident died from a gunshot wound to the head not far from his home, according to authorities.
