West Savannah shooting leaves 1 injured

One person was injured in a shooting in West Savannah early Friday afternoon.

According to the Savannah Police Department (SPD), the incident happened at Richards and West streets around 12:30 p.m.

Suspect arrested for murder in shooting on southside
One male victim was found suffering from an injury. He was transported to Memorial Health and is expected to be OK.
