Stoughton police investigating shooting death

STOUGHTON, Wis. (WKOW) — Stoughton police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the city Monday, according to the Stoughton Police Department.

Daniel Jenks said officers were dispatched to Eisenhower Road near N. Van Buren Street around 6:40 p.m. for a report of a male who had been shot.

The male was pronounced dead on scene by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office. His identity has not been released.
