Oakland police investigate deadly stabbing and 2 shootings, 1 fatal
Oakland police are investigating a separate shooting and stabbing early Saturday, both of which were fatal, plus a shooting late Friday in which the victim survived.
Officers responded to the stabbing shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday on the 100 block of 14th Street. They summoned medical workers, who pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Separately, officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation on the 2100 block of 39th Avenue just after 3 a.m. Saturday. They found a victim with gunshot wounds whom medical workers pronounced dead at the scene.
Identities of both victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
