Teenager killed, another wounded, in San Leandro shooting as police seek suspcts

One teenager was killed and another wounded after a shooting in San Leandro on Tuesday, police said.

Officials responded to reports of a shooting at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Moritz Garden Apartments off of Washington Avenue. When they arrived, they found the two boys, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, with gunshot wounds.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where the 16-year-old succumbed to his injuries. The other victim remains in stable condition.
