Hartford police investigating non-fatal shooting on Wethersfield Avenue

A man was recovering in the hospital after a shooting on Wethersfield Avenue in Hartford on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Hartford patrol officers were alerted to a gunshot victim arriving at an area hospital around 4:27 p.m. on Tuesday. The victim, a man in his 30s, was alert and conscious, according to the Hartford Police Department.

Police learned that the shooting took place in the area of 3 Wethersfield Avenue, where the Hartford police’s major crimes and crime scene divisions took over the investigation.
