Man found dead on Tacoma street after multiple callers report gunfire

Reports of gunfire Monday led Tacoma police to an apparent shooting victim on Puyallup Avenue.

Multiple callers to 911 reported shots fired just before 4:30 p.m., according to police spokesperson Shelbie Boyd.

When police and Tacoma Fire Department personnel arrived in the 200 block of Puyallup Avenue, they found an adult male victim and began life-saving aid.
