Man dead following Second Street shooting incident

Ricky Lamar Huff, 47, was pronounced dead at Piedmont McDuffie at 12:05 a.m. following a shooting incident on Second Street in Thomson last night.

According to McDuffie County Coroner Paul Johnson, the call was received just after 11 p.m.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) has joined the Thomson Police Department and the coroner’s office in the ongoing investigation.
