SAN ANTONIO: 1 dead, two critically wounded after shooting on the East Side

SAN ANTONIO – One person has died after a shooting between two groups on the East Side of town.

The shooting happened around 12:30 p.m., Saturday, on the 1500 block of Upland Drive.

Police say a vehicle with multiple people inside was waiting for the target to exit the apartment. It was not a random shooting.

When the target came outside of the apartment, another vehicle was there to come and pick him up. At that moment, there was an exchange of gunfire between the two groups.
