Toddler dies in Florida apartment complex shooting

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — An infant died after gunshots rang out at an apartment complex in southern Florida on Saturday.

The Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) responded to the 500 block of Martin Luther King Drive just before 2 p.m., according to a Broward County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) report NBC affiliate WTVJ. 

When they arrived, officers found a person with a gunshot wound, later identified as an infant. The child was taken to the hospital, where death was pronounced.
