Police investigating shooting on Birchdale; street closed

Prince William County police are working on a shooting incident where there are said to be multiple victims.

The shooting occurred in the 14700 block of Birchdale Avenue in Dale City. Police reported the incident at about 2:30 p.m. We don’t yet know the extent of the injuries.

Prince William County Neabsco District Supervisor Victor Angry tells PLN that those living on Birchdale Avenue cannot access the street during what he called a massive police investigation. “I know it’s incontinence, but there will be a police presence in this area for some time as we they try to figure out what happened. For this to happen at the start of a holiday weekend, it’s horrible,” said Angry.
