4 men indicted in connection with March shooting near Ellis Square

Congress St. on March 6 Four men have been indicted in connection with a March 6 shooting near Ellis Square that left one person wounded, according to court records and Savannah police.

A Chatham County grand jury returned the 11-count indictment Wednesday against Taniji Jordan Hall, Jhaquez Javonta Stamper, Jamario Marquize Clark and Carl Lamar Lonon.

The indictment alleges Hall and Stamper, acting individually and as parties to a crime, shot at James Putney and Clark.
