Two teens arrested after driving wrong way down motorway and ‘ramming’ Garda vehicle

One of the males has since been charged, and was scheduled to appear before the Dublin Children’s Court this morning, Friday 18th September 2026.
Two teens have been arrested after driving a stolen vehicle on the M50 on Thursday night.
Gardaí commenced an investigation following the incident of the unauthorised taking of a car in the Coolock, Dublin 17 area of Dublin in the early hours of Wednesday 16th September 2026.

During the course of the operation, at the junction of the M1 and the R132, the stolen car rammed an official Garda vehicle.
