Two people arrested in Vicksburg gas station shooting

Two people were arrested in connection with a shooting at a Vicksburg gas station, the Vicksburg Police Department announced on Facebook.

The shooting happened September 12 around 10:50 a.m. at a gas station in the 2600 block of Halls Ferry Road.

Authorities said during the investigation they found evidence in the parking lot near the gas pumps.

The 26-year-old victim, Shaquille Guise, was found with several gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
