Woman arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in early September

Shreveport Police have arrested a woman in connection with a fatal stabbing in Shreveport on Sept. 4.

SPD responded to a reported stabbing call at a residence in the 1900 block of Corbitt Street.

According to a news release, officers located Stemond Scott suffering from a stab wound to his upper body.

The Shreveport Fire Department transported Scott to Ochsner LSU Health with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
