Tornado Warning Issued for Parts of Virginia as Storm Moves Toward Burrowsville

A radar-indicated tornado is threatening parts of Charles City, Prince George and Surry counties in Virginia, with a Tornado Warning in effect until 5:15 p.m. EDT.
The dangerous storm was located near Claremont and moving toward Burrowsville, according to the warning.
Roof and mobile home damage possible
The storm is capable of producing a tornado strong enough to damage roofs, mobile homes, trees and vehicles.
Residents in the warned area should move immediately to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building, away from windows. Anyone in a mobile home should seek more substantial shelter if it can be reached safely.
A Tornado Warning means a tornado is imminent or occurring and immediate shelter is recommended.
