Columbus, Mississippi shooting: Suspect wantedsurrenders

A shooting suspect wanted by Columbus Police has turned himself in.

According to CPD, 22-year-old Antonio Thompson, Jr. surrendered to authorities Monday night at the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office.

Thompson is a key suspect in in the late August shooting on the 1500 block of 24th Street North.

Officers say one man was shot and had non-life-threatening injuries.
