Man arrested for arson in connection to Kentucky barn fire

A man is facing arson charges following a barn fire in Cadiz this weekend, according to Kentucky State Police.

The fire was believed to have been intentionally set.

Cause of fire under investigation

KSP said it was requested to investigate a barn fire in the 5000 block of Princeton Road in Cadiz on Sep. 4.

Following an investigation, KSP said there was no evidence to suggest that the fire was started accidentally or through natural causes. Investigators also gathered witness statements.

KSP said the investigation led to the arrest of 59-year-old Robert Ingram, of Cadiz. He was charged with second-degree arson and criminal mischief.
