Five Killed in Flying Doctor Helicopter Crash in Malaysia

Five people were killed after a Flying Doctor Service helicopter crashed near Long Lellang Airport in Malaysia’s Sarawak state.
The BO-105 helicopter was carrying a pilot and four Health Ministry personnel when it crashed and caught fire near the Long Lellang STOLport in Ulu Baram on Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities confirmed that everyone aboard the aircraft died in the crash. The medical team included a doctor, an assistant medical officer and two nurses.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
