3 teens arrested in Ormond Beach shooting

Three teenagers were arrested Monday in connection with a shooting early that day in Ormond Beach, according to police.

The teens — ages 15, 17, and 17 — are accused of firing multiple rounds from a semi-automatic handgun into a residence and will face charges including shooting into a building and aggravated assault, the Ormond Beach Police Department said Tuesday on social media. >> 2 is not naming the suspects because of their age Officers responded around 4:07 a.m.

Monday to a reported shooting at a home on Woodmere Circle, the post states.

"Officers arrived and found evidence that the residence had been fired upon, including a bullet fragment lodged between two panes of glass, a bullet hole and numerous spent casings along the roadway," police said.
