Bengaluru: London-Bound Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Kempegowda Airport After Technical Glitch

A London-bound Virgin Atlantic flight carrying 270 passengers returned to Bengaluru airport and made an emergency landing on Sunday after developing a technical problem shortly after take-off.

The aircraft departed from Kempegowda International Airport at around 8:20 am.

According to sources at Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), the flight developed a technical issue soon after leaving Bengaluru.

The crew reportedly kept the aircraft circling near Tumakuru for more than 30 minutes before deciding to return to the airport as a safety precaution.
