Woman stabbed to death inside Brickell luxury high-rise, Miami, Florida police say

Stabbing: MIAMI, Florida — Updated on: September 4, 2026 / 3:11 PM EDT / CBS Miami A man has been taken into custody after a woman was stabbed to death inside a luxury high-rise in Brickell early Friday morning, and Miami police say they believe the incident was likely a domestic situation.

The situation took place at the Solitair Brickell Apartments at 86 Southwest 8th Street around 4:45 a.m., according to Miami police.

Zack Carson said he walked out of his apartment early Friday morning to a gruesome scene.

"I heard some noise this morning, like 4:30 a.m.," he said. "I woke up to it. I didn't know what I heard.
