US Airstrike Allegedly: ALLEGEDLY TARGETS WEDDING, Iran — Officials in Iran have reported that a United States military airstrike struck a residential area during a wedding celebration in the southern county of Sirik, resulting in the deaths of at least five individuals, including a child.
Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, described the strike as a "brutal" attack that occurred early in the morning on Wednesday.
According to state-owned Press TV, the bombing targeted a home in the city of Kuhestak.
Reza Shahidiyan, the governor of Sirik county, informed the IRIB state broadcaster that the assault also left 63 people injured, with the majority of the victims being women and children.
