Hopkinsville, Kentucky police investigating fatal shooting incident

HOPKINSVILLE, Kentucky — HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting incident in Christian County.

According to the Hopkinsville Police Department, officers responded to a report of a possible shooting in the 100 block of Koffman Drive at approximately 2:58 am Wednesday.

Officers located a male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest at the scene.

HPD says Hopkinsville Fire/EMS transported the victim to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
