CHP issues Amber Alert for girl taken in Newark, New Jersey believed to be in imminent danger

NEWARK FRIDAY, California — A 6-year-old girl last seen in Newark Friday was located Saturday after officials believed she was in imminent danger, the California Highway Patrol said.

The Amber Alert was issued around 7 a.m. in Alameda and Santa Clara counties, and the CHP deactivated the alert a few hours later, saying she was located.
