Video: Russian Strikes Hit Shopping Center in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, Killing at Least 6 and Injuring 91

At least six people were killed and 91 others injured when Russian drones struck a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, on Friday, August 21, 2026.

Six children were among those injured, while 21 people were reported to be in serious condition. Search-and-rescue teams continued working at the scene as families waited for information about missing relatives.

Two Waves of Strikes

The attack occurred in two waves. A second drone struck about 30 minutes after the initial impact and fire, while emergency crews were responding at the shopping center.

Stores inside the building caught fire, and part of the structure collapsed. Videos from the scene showed flames, heavy smoke and rescuers searching through the damaged property.

Search Operation Continues

Emergency crews continued extinguishing the fire and searching the building for anyone trapped inside. Authorities warned that the number of casualties could increase as the operation continued.
