The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says a pedestrian who was hit by a bus last month has passed away. Police say the man, who was in his 60s, was seriously injured after a collision with a TransLink bus at the intersection of 128 Street and 96 Avenue on July 11.

He was taken to hospital for treatment. On Thursday, the SPS informed the public that the man had died; however, it isn’t clear when he passed. Businesses in Summerland and Penticton are experiencing heavy financial losses due to the Bald Range wildfire. B.C.
