FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (CNN) – Authorities in Virginia arrested a 19-year-old man Wednesday in connection with the stabbing death of a woman. Forty-two-year-old Carmen Lizet Puch was found dead Monday in the parking lot of a Great Falls park.

“Our victim suffered numerous stab wounds in a really brutal, unspeakable way,” Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said.

Police said Puch and the suspect, Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos, worked together and had an “intimate relationship.” “We have video footage of our suspect at the restaurant where he worked with our victim arming himself with a fixed blade knife, taking a pair of black latex gloves, taking a water bottle, and then off he goes with the intent to do harm and kill the victim,” Davis said.
