UPDATE: Tornado Warning Continues for Columbus and Astico, Wisconsin Until 6:30 PM CDT

A tornado warning continues for Columbus, Astico and nearby areas in Wisconsin until 6:30 p.m. CDT Tuesday.

The updated warning area no longer includes Leeds and Otsego.

The National Weather Service said radar detected rotation capable of producing a tornado. Pea-sized hail is also possible.

Take Shelter Immediately

Residents should move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and stay away from windows.

Anyone outdoors, in a vehicle or inside a mobile home should seek substantial shelter immediately and protect themselves from flying debris.

The updated warning area includes approximately 9,606 people, four schools and one hospital.
