Severe Thunderstorms Threaten Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa With 70 MPH Winds and Large Hail

A severe thunderstorm threat continues across portions of Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa, with damaging winds and large hail possible Tuesday evening.
The Storm Prediction Center said the strongest storms could produce wind gusts of 55 to 70 mph and hail measuring between one and 1.75 inches in diameter.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch 595 remains in effect across the region as storms move through southern Wisconsin, northern Illinois and eastern Iowa.
