Massive Fire Erupts at Hotel Near Wembley Stadium in London

A major fire has erupted at a hotel near Wembley Stadium in London, sending smoke into the air and prompting a large emergency response on Friday.
The London Fire Brigade said six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were deployed to the hotel on Empire Way in Wembley.
Firefighters were called after the brigade began receiving reports of the blaze at approximately 12:34 p.m. local time. Authorities said they received 29 calls reporting the fire.

Crews from Park Royal, Willesden, Northolt and surrounding fire stations were sent to the scene as firefighters worked to bring the blaze under control.
The hotel is located on Empire Way, close to Wembley Stadium, one of London’s largest sporting and entertainment venues.
The extent of the damage and whether anyone has been injured were not immediately clear.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and authorities have not yet released further details.
