An earthquake has jolted Tehran, with tremors reportedly felt across parts of the Iranian capital.

According to seismic reports, the quake measured around 4.1 magnitude and occurred at a relatively shallow depth. 

Residents reported feeling shaking in several areas as authorities monitored the situation.
