Firefighters rushed to the scene and began battling the intense flames, while stunned onlookers gathered nearby, watching in disbelief as the historic structure collapsed. Videos circulating on social media show the roof of the building caving in and large sections consumed by fire.

According to local officials, the Congregation Beth El fire required multiple fire units to control the blaze, which raged for over an hour before being brought under control. No immediate reports of injuries have been released, but investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
