Video: EasyJet Emergency as Passenger Subdued After Threats on London to Glasgow Flight

An EasyJet emergency was declared shortly before landing in Glasgow, after a disruptive passenger on board a flight from London Luton began shouting threats mid-air.
According to eyewitness reports and onboard video, the man allegedly began yelling “Allahu Akbar” and making unspecified threats, triggering panic among passengers. The flight crew, supported by several passengers, acted quickly to restrain the individual and prevent further escalation.
The incident occurred on an EasyJet flight traveling from London Luton Airport (LTN) to Glasgow International Airport (GLA) on Sunday. Shortly before landing, the pilot issued an emergency alert to air traffic control as a precautionary measure.
Once on the ground, authorities met the aircraft and took the man into custody. No injuries were reported, and the flight landed safely.
Passengers described the situation as tense but praised the crew’s swift response. Authorities are currently investigating the suspect’s background and motive.
This is the second high-alert incident involving a UK-based airline in recent weeks, renewing concerns over inflight security and passenger behavior.
