Grays Ferry Mass Shooting: New Photos Released of 2 Suspects

Philadelphia police have released new photos of two suspects wanted in connection with the Grays Ferry mass shooting that occurred on July 7, 2025. The incident left three people dead and nine others wounded, with a tenth individual injured during the chaos as bystanders fled the scene.

The mass shooting, which took place around 1:05 a.m., was captured on video and went viral across social media platforms. The footage showed the suspects firing guns from a crowded porch in the Grays Ferry neighborhood.
The victims killed in the attack were identified as:
- Zahir Wylie, 23
- Jason Reese, 19
- Azir Harris, 24
📸 Suspect Descriptions:
- Suspect 1: A man in his late teens or early twenties, thin build with sideburns. He was last seen wearing a gray head covering, black jacket, track pants, and carrying an Under Armour backpack.
- Suspect 2: Described as having an “unkempt afro,” last seen wearing a black shirt and carrying a Nike backpack with silver bubble-like designs on the straps.
Earlier on July 7, police had released images of three suspects connected to the case. It’s unclear whether these two new suspects are among the originally identified individuals.
