Kerrville, TX — The family of Linnie McCown, 8, has confirmed her death after catastrophic flash floods struck Camp Mystic in Hunt, Texas.

“She was found, and I identified her at the funeral home in Kerrville,” Linnie’s father said in a heartbreaking statement.

Linnie was among dozens of young campers when historic flooding overwhelmed parts of central Texas, prompting mass evacuations and a desperate multi-day search.
