Knife Attack in Germany: One Dead, Two Seriously Injured at Company in Mellrichstadt

A knife attack at a company in Mellrichstadt, located in the Unterfranken region of Germany, has resulted in one fatality and left two others seriously injured.

According to Polizei Unterfranken, the 21-year-old suspect—now in custody—is a German national and an employee of the company. The victims, also company employees, include a 59-year-old man who died at the scene, and two others, aged 55 and 62, who sustained serious injuries.

The alleged weapon, a knife, has been seized. Authorities are actively investigating the motive behind the attack.
