NSW Deputy Premier Prue Car diagnosed with breast cancer

New South Wales Deputy Premier Prue Car has unfortunately been diagnosed with breast cancer. In a statement released this morning, Car shared the disappointing news, confirming that the results of her recent screening led to the diagnosis. 

She expressed the need to take some time off to undergo significant medical treatment, mentioning that her ministerial responsibilities would be temporarily managed by others. Besides her role as deputy premier, Car supervises the portfolios for Education and Early Learning, as well as Western Sydney, and she encouraged constituents in her electorate to keep reaching out to her office
