Shooting Investigation Underway in Peoria: 18-Year-Old Woman in Critical Condition

📍 Peoria, IL – On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at approximately 3:19 p.m., Peoria Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of SW Water Street.

Upon arrival, officers found an 18-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was rushed to a local hospital and remains in critical condition.

Multiple divisions from the Peoria Police Department, including the Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Special Investigations Division (SID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and Patrol Unit, were deployed to the scene. Authorities confirmed that all individuals believed to be involved are currently in custody, and no further suspects are being sought.
