Car Hits 4 Pedestrians in Leicester – Man Arrested

A 31-year-old man has been arrested after a car struck four pedestrians on De Montfort Street in Leicester early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m., following reports of a fight at the same location. Two men and two women were injured in the collision. Three of the victims remain hospitalized with serious injuries, while one sustained only minor injuries.

The suspect, a local man from Leicester, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in custody as investigations by Leicestershire Police continue.

The vehicle involved in the incident was recovered nearby on Margaret Street.
