Toronto Pearson International Airport’s Terminal 1 went into full lockdown just now after reports of a shooting in the Departures area. Peel Police swarmed the scene, with 30+ cruisers and paramedics seen performing CPR on one person in critical condition. Travelers were forced to ditch their cars and walk to the terminal as Highway 409 access was cut off. One witness described hearing “loud popping noises” near baggage claim.
