Update WILDFIRE RESPONSE – OCEAN COUNTY, New Jersey

A Gloucester County Structural Fire Protection Task Force has deployed a strike team of 5 engines and 5 water tenders to support efforts against the Jones Road wildfire. Crews from multiple departments—including Ferrell, Williamstown, Cecil, and others—are operating from the Ocean County Fire Academy.

As of 7 PM, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service reports the fire has grown to 3,500 acres with just 5% containment.
