A shell was dropped on a civilian district during live-fire military exercises in Pocheon, South Korea

NBN News Agency: At around 10 a.m. today, a report was received that a “shell had fallen” on a civilian home in Nogok-ri, Idong-myeon, Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province.

So far, seven people have suffered moderate to severe injuries, and several village buildings have been damaged.

Fire authorities suspect that the accident was caused by an unintended explosion from a fighter jet during military training and are currently investigating the exact cause.
