VIDEO: a shooting has taken place Friday in or near the King Soopers grocery store in El Paso County

Authorities are investigating a reported shooting at the King Soopers store in Monument.

Monument police and El Paso County sheriff’s deputies have responded to the shooting, reported at 1070 West Baptist Road. The shooting was announced on X shortly after 1:30 p.m.
