VIDEO and PHOTOS: Huge strike rally in Athens

The Greek Parliament has opened its doors to citizens trapped by anarchist violence who took the opportunity to hijack one the greatest mobilizations of Greeks.

The anarchists have thrown Molotov cocktails at police (without care for citizens in the crossfire) and with sledge hammers have broken marble and caused damage to buildings. The police have completely failed in dealing with the anarchists.

Greeks today are protesting to demand justice on the second anniversary of the deadly Tempi train crash that killed 57 people, mostly students. All international and domestic flights were halted, and seafarers, train drivers, doctors, lawyers, and teachers declared strike, but once again, the anarchists have turned a protest violent and are distracting from the main issue as they trash the centre of Athens.
