Westpac said on Sunday morning it apologises for the disruptions as customers are left unable to access online or mobile banking.

Millions of Westpac customers are currently experiencing issues with their online and mobile banking services.

Westpac said on Sunday morning it apologises for the disruptions.

“We’re aware that customers are experiencing issues accessing online and mobile banking,” it said on X.

“Our teams are working to fix the issue.”

Reports of issue with Westpac’s online banking services spiked at 9am on Sunday, according to Downdetector.

Almost 3,000 reports were submitted to the site, with 52% of the reports relating to mobile banking services and 42% due to online banking services.
